Ms. Perez Cohen is a Senior Investment Officer at MicroVest, based in Mexico City. She is responsible for pipeline development, underwriting, transaction execution, and relationship management for MicroVest’s Latin America portfolio.
Ms. Perez Cohen has over 20 years of banking and development finance experience in emerging and developing markets. Prior to joining MicroVest in 2023, Ms. Perez was the Central America Hub Leader at the International Finance Corporation’s (IFC) Financial Institutions Group. Before joining IFC, Ms. Perez worked as a project manager in the Global Banking Group at JP Morgan, serving in their Paris and Madrid offices, and previously, as trader’s assistant in the Credit Hybrids Desk in their London offices.
Ms. Perez Cohen received a BA in Economics and an MA in Financial Markets from Universidad San Pablo CEU in Madrid. She received a Certificate in Climate and Investing from the CFA Society of the UK and is a Certified Environment, Social & Governance Analyst (European Federation of Financial Analyst Societies (EFFAS). Ms. Perez Cohen is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
