Ms. Copplind is MicroVest’s Legal Officer, responsible for coordinating closing and disbursement processes for MicroVest’s investments, including providing assistance with portfolio company due diligence, KYC/AML checks, documentation, liaising with local counsel and clients, as well as providing ongoing corporate legal support.
Prior to MicroVest in 2019, Ms. Copplind was a contractual Attorney at the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest) responsible for delegating facilities and special programs financing to provide accessible funding to SMEs across Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to IDB Invest, Ms Copplind served as the Legal Counsel for Cap Cana, S.A. and Corporate Legal Advisor to Grupo Abrisa, a resort development corporation in the Dominican Republic.
Ms. Copplind received a Masters of Law in International Legal Studies from the American University, and her Juris Doctor from Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
