Mr. Burbank helps oversee key risk functions related to MicroVest’s investment and portfolio management processes, including credit review of investments, the management of problem credits, identification and tracking of fund portfolio risk, and the management of FX risk, among others. Prior to joining MicroVest in 2022, Mr. Burbank served as the Chief Credit Officer at Channel Capital Advisors in London and prior to that, he was Managing Partner at Lacuna Solutions. He has held various credit and risk position throughout his career, including as Sector Head of Credit Trading at Lloyds Banking Group, as an SVP at DBRS Ratings and as the Head of Credit Research at Investec Asset Management.
Mr. Burbank received his MBA from Columbia Business School, his MA from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and his BA from Connecticut College.
